Teachers, teaching assistants and members of the MUFSD leadership team (shown above) who have received tenure were honored and celebrated for their extraordinary work on behalf of students. 

In recognizing this professional milestone, Assistant Superintendent for Personnel, Dr. Jeremy Barker, said, “By the time you are recommended for tenure in our school system, you have navigated up to four years of rigorous evaluation of your professional practice by multiple members of the leadership team. To be recommended for tenure here, you have instilled confidence in the leadership team, the Superintendent, and Board of Education, that you are a skilled professional who demonstrates exemplary commitment to our District’s mission.”
